Instead of 20 Questions – I am asking 2020 questions for the 2020 IndyCar Season.

The 2020 IndyCar season will be here before you know it. For the race fans, this period of the offseason creates some uncertainties. A number of the silly season announcements have been made, yet there remain some questions for the upcoming season. Here are some of my questions. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. What do you predict the answers will be? Do you have any other questions that you have thought of?

1– Will Josef Newgarden carry the Number 1 next year as the Series Champion? This has been a tradition of Team Penske in past years.

2 – Will Josef Newgarden go back to back for the Championship? We have not had a back to back Series Champion since Dario Franchitti won 3 straight from 2009-2011.

3 – Will this be the last opportunity for Helio Castroneves to win his fourth Indianapolis 500? Will he run he Indy Grand Prix as well?

4 – Will AJ Foyt Racing field two cars for the entire 2020 season? Will Matheus Leist or another driver be behind the wheel, and who will be the sponsor?

5 – Will Pato O’Ward win Rookie of the Year in 2020? And will he win a race for Arrow McLaren SP?

6 – How will Robert Wickens continue to amaze us in 2020? #GetWellWickens

7 – Will Oliver Askew score more points in 2020 vs. the driver that was in the seat in 2019, Marcus Ericsson? (290 points)

8 – Will the third Chip Ganassi Racing car with Marcus Ericsson finish on the podium for a race in 2020?

9 – Will Scott Dixon win his sixth Series Championship?

10 – Will Felix Rosenqvist get his first victory in 2020?

12 – Will Will Power win his second Series Championship in 2020?

14 – Will Tony Kanaan get his farewell tour in 2020 with AJ Foyt Racing?

15 – Will Graham Rahal go winless again in 2020?

17 – Will we see more than 17 races on the 2021 schedule?

18 – Will Sebastien Bourdais compete for the Championship in 2020? Or will he have another winless season?

19 – Will Santino Ferrucci be back behind the wheel of the 19 car? If so, will we see him get his first victory in 2020?

20 – Will we see Ed Carpenter win the Indy 500 in 2020 as a final tribute to the Hulman-George Family? Who will be his co-driver on road and street circuits?

21 – Will Rinus VeeKay be behind the wheel of the 21 car in 2020?

22 – Will Simon Pagenaud be able to back up his 2020 performance, or will this be his last year at Team Penske?

23 – Will Charlie Kimball be in the 23 car for Carlin Racing?

25 – Will Conor Daly drive in the 2020 Indy 500?

26 – Will we see the rookie Zach Veach flashes of brilliance or the sophomore Zach Veach 18th place season finish? Will this be his last year at Andretti Autosport?

27 – Will this be the year that Alexander Rossi claims the Season Championship now that his contract is settled?

28 – Will Ryan Hunter-Reay go winless again in 2020? How much longer will he run IndyCar?

30 – Will Takuma Sato win two races again in 2020?

31 – Will Carlin Racing stick with one driver for the entire season or patch together a collection of drivers? Will we see Sage Karam in any other races or RC Enerson

32 – Will Juncos Racing make the Indy 500 in 2020? Will they run any other races throughout the year?

33 – Will James Davison run the Indy 500 in 2020 for Byrd-Hollinger-Belardi?

39 – Will Pippa Mann race in the Indy 500? Will we see any other female drivers make the field of 33?

42 – Will Jordan King be back for the 2020 Indy 500?

48 – Will Dreyer & Reinbold Racing run more than the Indy 500? Will JR Hildebrand be back with the team?

59 – Will we see Max Chilton on the Streets of St. Pete and other road and street circuits in 2020?

60 – Will Jack Harvey win a race in 2020 with Meyer Shank Racing?

77 – Will Oriol Servia get another chance at the Indy 500?

81 – Will DragonSpeed and Ben Hanley run more than the Indy 500 in 2020 as promised?

88 – Will Colton Herta back up his two-win rookie season by competing for the Championship in 2020?

98 – Will Marco Andretti win a race or step on a podium in 2020?

104 – Will Fernando Alonso make the field for the 104th running of the Indy 500? Who will win the 104th running?
